My Gynormous Film-Brain

October 5, 2009

During first semester of University I took an art-class which branched into both 2D+3D art.

For our final sculptures of the year we were to come up with something which represented ‘memory.’

This massive brain composed entirely of a 35mm film is a representation of the human mind.  It is composed of several frames which is similar to our brains which are composed of several individual thoughts & memories, which we have experienced throughout the years.  The yellow marks represent memories we recall over the years.  The purple mark represents memory we have decided to try to ignore/ forget for better reasons.  Finally, the green represents memories which are still in development or process stage.
