The Royal Tyrrell Museum son.

July 29, 2009

As a child growing up in Ontario the only museum I knew of  was the Royal Ontario Museum as know as the ROM.  It was one of the coolest Museum’s at the time & it had tons of  exhibits to offer but I always wanted more Dinosaurs. My Dad being from Alberta would always talk to me about Drumheller & how it was a magical place full of Dinosaur remains.

The Royal Tyrrell Museum in Drumheller Alberta has got to be one of the coolest places in the whole world.   I learned more about Dinosaurs in a single visit then I did  throughout Elementary School.  Its about 1 1/2 hrs away from Calgary & if you haven’t made the trip out to Durmheller I suggest you do so ASAP. It has pretty much every single Dinosaur imaginable to man including a “Gyronnosaurus.” Well probably not a Gyronnosaurus because they don’t actually exist but most likely every other kind of Dinosaur in the Dino-Encyclo-Pedia.

Fossils are cool period.
Make the trip.
